Buckingham Pools successfully completed a residential indoor skimmer pool for a private client in a charming village in Bristol, nestled among rolling green hills and expansive gardens. This stunning new feature enhances the home, offering a luxury retreat for family and friends to enjoy year-round.

The 10x4m swimming pool, with a depth of 1.32m, provides the perfect setting for the family’s enjoyment, from recreational swims to relaxation. The pool is equipped with an advanced filtration system, featuring circulation pumps, a flowmeter, and high-performance filters, ensuring clean, crisp water for every dip. For enhanced visibility, the pool includes underwater lighting, which not only adds an element of elegance but also significantly enhances the experience, providing a soothing ambience and making evening swims even more enjoyable. The pool water temperature is carefully managed with an energy-efficient air source heat pump, effortlessly controlled via a digital panel in the plant room.

In addition to the pool, Buckingham Pools also installed a custom sauna with a scenic view. Situated adjacent to the pool area, the sauna features a window that frames a breathtaking view of the client’s extensive backyard. Incorporating a window into the sauna design was a challenging aspect due to the potential for condensation. Nonetheless, our team overcame this by utilising specialised materials and techniques to ensure the window remained clear and dry even in the humid environment. Complementing the pool’s design, the sauna creates a seamless transition between relaxation and recreation.
