Our Solihull-based client was looking for a skilled and reputable local pool contractor to refurbish their existing outdoor pool. The tiling on the outdated pool was damaged and needed renovation whilst maintaining the traditional look.

Buckingham Pools commenced the refurbishment programme in April 2023. Our professional finishing team used various proprietary products to achieve high-quality results. To remedy the tile band section previously failed by other builders, our rendering team used Rapid Set AM100 to render the surface evenly, saving time and preventing future damages. Furthermore, we proposed an Ardex Epoxy grout as the client had previously struggled with water chemistry and staining from surrounding trees from the neighbouring property. This Epoxy produces hygienic, waterproof joints with excellent chemical resistance, approaching the problem with a lasting solution.

Although the re-tilling was planned to complete within two weeks, it demanded a week’s extension due to adverse weather conditions. Overall, the project ran smoothly, and the tiling was impeccable to client satisfaction.
