Buckingham Pools has successfully elevated a subterranean extension for a private radial-shaped dwelling in the tranquil Warwickshire countryside, equipping it with contemporary wet leisure amenities. 

This all-encompassing design and construction demonstrates our dedication to crafting exceptional wet leisure spaces. The centrepiece of this out-of-the-box extension is a 12.5m x 4.80m swimming pool, accompanied by an integrated 2.13m spa pool with 35 massage jets, providing an indulgent experience for our discerning client. To enhance users’ well-being, we’ve incorporated a tailor-made sauna, complete with high-grade Aspen, deluxe Obeche benching and LED lights. 

The homeowners encountered challenges when seeking providers who could align with their eco-conscious project goals. Nevertheless, Buckingham Pools rose to the challenge, embracing the environmental aspects of the design with readiness. We show this with a commitment to precision and quality, evident through the integration of specialised equipment for this project. Our design team have incorporated top-tier, energy-efficient pool and spa filtration systems and advanced water treatment solutions to maintain the water pristine and safe. Similarly, the specified chemical dosing controller adjusts the sanitisation and pH levels to keep the water balanced. The automatic slatted pool cover enhances safety, conserves heat, and minimises energy consumption. Additionally, high-performance pool heating and ventilation systems, including an Air Handling Unit (AHU), ensure a comfortable and inviting atmosphere year-round.

Today, this eco-project boasts full-height sliding doors overlooking its serene courtyard, revealing a splendid wellness setting that seamlessly blends the indoors with the outdoors, all beneath a verdant living roof canopy. In collaboration with Fabric Design and Build, we’ve pushed the boundaries of innovation and design in the realm of modern spaces. As a result, we are excited to announce that this remarkable project has been selected to showcase on Channel 4‘s ‘Extraordinary Extensions’ hosted by property enthusiast and rapper Tinie Tempah.
